Cooloola City Farm is a community, not for profit, nursery growing Australian Native plants.
Originally, a project of the Rotary Club of Gympie-Cooloola Inc, Cooloola City Farm was set up in 1998 to provide
on the job horticulture training to various members of the community, especially youth and long term unemployed.
It has developed into a native plant production nursery specialising in flora indigenous to South East Queensland
and the Wide Bay areas.
In 2009 Cooloola City Farm became an incorporated body named Cooloola City Farm Nurseries Inc.
There are two nursery sites, one in Gympie and one in Tin Can Bay. Each site is staffed by a part time coordinator
